How can you tell you are wearing the wrong size bra

Wednesday, 6 May 2009 14:29 by Martin

How can you tell you are wearing the wrong size bra?

  1. The centre of the bra does not touch your breast bone, (sternum)
  2. Your breasts are bubbling over the cups
  3. The band is riding up your back.
  4. Your straps are digging into your shoulders
  5. The cup is wrinkly and there is a gap
  6. The band is digging into your sides and causing bulges
  7. The band feels slack, even when you have fastened it on the last hook and eyes.

Beckie Williams campaign for fairer bra sizes

Beckie Williams campaign for fairer bra sizes

Watched GMTV this morning and a guest called Beckie Williams was on the program. Her campaign is fo fairer prices for larger cupped ladies especially from high street store Marks & Spencer.

The story is also covered at the BBC and Daily mail.

Beckie's and Becky Mount's campaign is on Facebook Busts 4 Justice.

At first light this may seem like a reasonable request until you consider this in context of other items. Take the building of a home, would you expect to pay the same for a mansion as you would for a town house?

Where the price for the same style bra is the same, does this not mean that those with A cups are subsiding those with D cups, those with D cups subsiding those with K cups?

Sorry girls I have tried my best to come up with a logical reason why larger bras should cost the same. Only one reason comes to mind and that is that from administration and that is for the benefit of the suppliers.

Let us assume that a company did produce a certain style of bra in all sizes for the same price, then consider what might happen. A rival company might well produce a similar bra but only in sizes 30A to 40D. Now the company with the largest range, will in the market place be at a disadvantage for smaller sizes since their price pays for the extra material etc for the larger sizes. Since the sales of the smaller sizes drop then the company needs to increase prices to maintain profit. the sales would drop since those with smaller cups are going to buy the cheaper bra. Again with lower sales of smaller sizes, the manufacturing cost rise since there is a smaller production run. The company will, if they have any sense, stop production of the smaller sizes and only produce the bra in sizes DD+. Once again it makes logical sense to have a split in the prices of the bra so that the smaller sizes can compete with similar sizes from companies only producing smaller sizes.

Well I look forward to logical arguments in your comments as to why the price should be the same!!!!!

Recession hits Myleene Klass and M&S

It would appear from several news items that Marleene Klass is taking a pay cut to continue to model for Marks and Spencer. Last year it was reported the 31 year old was paid £1 million while this year the pay packet will only be £250,000.

Introducing Dreamgirl

Dreamgirl is one of the largest manufacturers of lingerie and costumes in the United States. I know you will be impressed as I am with its quality. I know you will love this range. As a woman I have been troubled by the lack of great looking, inexpensive lingerie that I could wear, and actually feel comfortable and look sexy in. I, like most people, have experienced the distress of buying lingerie only to find that the product was of poor quality and did not last anything past one fitting. I have the greatest confidence in Dreamgirl and as a result we have an exclusive money back satisfaction guarantee. I personally guarantee that every item of Dreamgirl Lingerie that you order will be of the highest quality, what's more it will look great on and you will have the confidence of dealing with a company that is orientated to only one thing - providing YOU with the world best lingerie.

Females in pop music

Females in pop music

You noticed that many girl groups and solo singers are wearing raunchy underwear these days.

Are they going to be setting the trend for this years fashion i wonder?

Stockings with seams, suspender belts, and corsets/basque all seemingly being the items of choice. Colours chosen are mainly black but there are others too.

There is one group the Saturdays who you will no doubt have noticed that have opted for wearing frilly knickers, with each member wearing a different colour. According to my research they are wearing WKD or What Katie Did!!!

Speaking of frilly knickers I will have to now go and add some to the sister web site or you will not have anything to look at when you get there.
